Stone Mountain Park New Lasershow Spectacular

Stone Mountain Park

Fun in the Park, A Choo-Choo Train Ride, Lasers & Fireworks.

Stone Mountain Park

All of this and even more at Stone Mountain Park. Although we visit the park at least 3x per week, we have never experienced the attractions nor have we seen the laser show in over 10 years. This visit was special because we were invited as guest for the Stone Mountain Blogger Laser Show Party. We were treated to an awesome afternoon including access to park attractions, dinner on the terrace and snacks while we awaited the highlight of the night:

I was afraid Zoë would not be up for staying for the show because she is normally in bed by 7:30. Luckily for me, she was more than happy to hang out with new friends, ride the train and enjoy some treats. And when the show began, my feisty toddler enjoyed the lights, the music and even the fireworks. The first boom scared her but after that she was all into it. We have not seen Frozen yet but we love the movies theme song ‘Let It Go” by Idina Menzel. The highlight for Zoë was the start of the show with Pharell’s “Happy.” That’s her jam. And of course John Legend’s “All Of Me” made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Make sure you head to Stone Mountain Park this summer to enjoy the attractions including the Choo-Choo Train, Geyser Tower, Sky Hike, Summit Skyride and The Great Barn. Summer at the Rock is currently going on through August 3rd. Fun for the entire family. I definitely recommend staying for the laser show. Get there early for the best seats. Bring your blankets, sit back, relax and enjoy a summer night under the stars and lasers.

Parking is $10 but I highly recommend getting the annual pass for $35 if you plan to visit more than 3 times during the year. Zoë and I run the park hang out in the playground and when I am alone I climb the mountain for a great workout. Our parking pass has paid for itself and then some. Don’t miss out on this local gem. It’s the perfect place for a staycation. Hotels, a spa, golf and more. Thank you Stone Mountain for continuing to be our favorite park in the Atlanta metro area.

Have you enjoyed Stone Mountain Park with your family? What is your favorite attraction in the park?
