SJP Shoes: A haute launch is upon us

Get ready Haute Mamas, February 28 is fast approaching and you don’t want to miss the launch of all launches. My style icon Sarah Jessica Parker affectionately known as SJP is launching her first shoes line at Nordstrom. Simple and fitting the line is called SJP (shoes.)  Breath mamas, breath! We knew this day would come. After all we have been waiting since 2004 when the best HBO series ever Sex & The City came to a close. I remember that evening like it was yesterday. I was all dolled up in my favorite SJP inspired attire, glass of wine in hand, relaxed on the sofa taking in the finale with my girls. Gone were the hilarious sexcapes of Samantha, the upper Eastside bourgeois of Charlotte, the annoyance that was Miranda (I just could never love Miranda) and the endless love and hug of Carrie (& Big). I named my Yorkie Carrie Bradshaw (hows that for fan fanatic?) and I still rock my Carrie inspired nameplate chain. I was also a big fan of her Bitten line. I still have a few pieces stowed away. Seriously Target Style or H&M need revive Bitten. And then the first movie hit us in 2008, another reason to get all dolled up and head to the theatre with my girls (I loathed Miranda in this film) and the sequel in 2010. Yes I am hoping for a part 3.

In the meantime I will sit back and lust over the new shoes collection.  My imagination is running wild and the sneak preview SJP shoe Diana is screaming Manolo, Jimmy & Louboutin (pictured above).  Being a STHM does not mean I will skip this seismic event! I will not miss it.

Here are some of my favorite SJP moments from her Sex & The City era.
