This is it! The last hoorah, the last lap, the finale! My last pregnancy update is finally here. What do I have to say about that? Thank God! Yep Thank God. As of last month, I felt like I was 52 weeks pregnant. Like seriously my belly is something out of this world. I went to the doctor today and people were like “wow, how big is that baby?” Honestly I have the same question. Our last approximate weight was 6lbs 2 oz and that was just about 8 weeks ago! I stopped in to my pharmacist and he was like “you’ve grown since last week. That’s a healthy boy.”
Well beyond the vanity of wanting to SnapBack immediately, I am praying Baby E is indeed a healthy boy. We are already scheduled for our pediatric urology appointment 2 weeks after delivery so he can have his kidneys scanned.
Due Date
Still 5/14 however my c-section is scheduled so let’s just say he will be here before then.
Weeks
As of tomorrow we will officially be 39 weeks
Doctor Update
Head all the way down however there is no other action. Not even 1 centimeter dialated! Zoë was the same. I imagine they both would have been overdue if not for c-sections
Me
Tired! Restless! Nervous! Anxious! Hungry all the time!!! Finally packed my hospital bag today and the Big Sister/Baby Brother bags for Zoë and Baby E. Better late than never. I’ll share those soon.
I barely sleep at night but boy do I get the best afternoon naps! So crazy. I love daytime sleep. Too bad the whole sleep thing will be history shortly.
Weight Gain & Cravings
Well I won’t reveal the final number because I’ll tack on the extra pounds for swelling for a sum total but I have never been this heavy in my life!
Food… I love it! All the good things and bad things too. Yesterday I devoured an entire bag of Cheetos Puffs! Not a single serve bag. Still eating cucumbers like they will never grow again anywhere on Earth.
Looking Ahead
I’m excited to meet my baby boy. It’s been a long journey and I still can’t believe I’m going to be a mom of two. Definitely never imagined this much blessings.
I’m also praying for successful breastfeeding, never being pregnant again (I’ll have to write a whole dissertation about this!) and sleeping on my tummy ever once in awhile!
*These pics are from my shower 2 weeks ago. Thanks Kita for capturing these amazing shots. Local to Atlanta? Book my girl! She is awesome. I’ll update this post with my last preggo pics once Baby E arrives. Can’t give away his birthday. Ha.

May 7, 2015 at 2:49 AMAwww MJ you really look beautiful! That dress, hair, everything…love it! And such a beautiful family. Please don’t stress about the weight…it definitely looks like it’s all belly. When I had my son, I craved Wendy’s Jr bacon cheeseburgers throughout the whole pregnancy. I gained almost 70 lbs with him (my first), and it was definitely NOT all belly LOL Praying for you and baby E for a safe and happy delivery.
