One thing I constantly talk about with fellow moms is how much we want, need or loves a moms night or day out. When given the opportunity, we jump on which sometimes leads to a run out the door immediately or a few planning sessions with other moms. So what about dad? When does Dad’s night out happen?

Dad's Night Out

Truth is, I’m jealous my husband gets to go out to work and having adult time. But that doesn’t equal relaxation or just a good time so I decided to get with my circle of moms to plan Dad’s Night Out. We planned an evening tee time golf outing and a pizza & beer dinner for our guys. I made my Husband a cute little Dad’s Night Out care package in the form of a scavenger hunt. I left an empty basket with a note at the door and then he had to search for these 5 things for his Dad’s Night Out. I saved the items related to the actual evening for last things to find as a surprise.

How To Surprise Your Guy with a Dad’s Night Out Scavenger Hunt

  1. Plan & make reservations for Dad’s Night out
  2. Write up scavenger hunt clues and place them in each item to be found
  3. Include items dad will need or use for his night out

Dad's Night Out

  • Sunscreen  & Hand Sanitizer

Because seriously I don’t know any man that wears sunscreen unless their wife makes them. Stop and put this on NOW honey. Even though their tee time was in the evening, the sun is still up for a bit so this is perfect. And I know my Hubs, hand sanitizer is with him all the time.

  • Shades

My Hubs loves shades and even sun still requires them so here you go honey. Plus my guy looks great in a pair of shades.

  • Gum

Ok this is not a necessity but I’ve always felt like gum helps an athlete relax. So I threw in some gum to help my husband win the Dad’s Night Out golf match. Plus he can use gum after dinner just in case he decides to enjoy something with garlic.

Dad's Night Out

The Hubs like to enjoy blu E-Cigs while hanging out with friends.

  • Golf Gear

The Hubs has all the things he needs for a golf outing but I decided to get him some new items. Golf balls, tees, a pair of gloves and a cute polo shirt.

  1. Disclose Dad’s Night Out location and details, add it to his calendar and yours and celebrate a win for both of you.

Dad's Night Out

I included the E-Cig because the Hubs recently switched to them as a gift to me. Here’s the deal: I hate the smell of smoke. Although The Hubs never smokes in the house or the car, I could always smell cigarettes on him. He is diligent about taking off his clothes and washing up as soon as he gets in but still the smell was in his pores and lingering on his hands no matter how many showers he took. I decided to gift him the blu Plus+ because I knew he could enjoy them without smelling all funky. This was a gift to him and to me because I really can’t smell the vapors from the blu e-cigs but if I do, it is for a few seconds max.

Dad's Night Out

I ordered him the Vivid Vanilla Blue Tanks online to go with the blu Plus+ Xpress Kit which is great for him to use on the go and recharge as needed in the car which is where he keeps his entire #bluPlus supply.

The Xpress kit bundle was a great starter package because it includes a free pack of tanks which is a $30 value for only $14.99. These kits are available while supplies last so be sure to get yours from blu today. The Hubs also joined the blu Nation Rewards program because he loves free things and discounts!

Dad's Night OutHow do you celebrate your guy? Now that I’ve shared my Dad’s Night Out plan, tell me what you do to show your guy he deserves a Dad’s Night Out.

What a fun, thoughtful, and creative post! I’m sure your husband appreciated all of the effort you put into making his dad’s night out special! And you’re right…they need some fun/adult time, too every now and again!

They really do deserve some fun too Amber. He was very happy. Just wait until he sees his birthday present. Goes perfect with this theme.

And this is why you rock MJ!!! I love this idea and I had never heard of these, until recently because my friend uses them. This actually helped her to stop smoking altogether.

My husband too. I would prefer him not to smoke at all but these have been great for him so I am happy (for now)

This is a nice idea. Even for non dads. I think I would have a lot of fun coming up with the ideas for it too.
