Toddler Style

Perfect Little Gentleman Style

All dressed up on a Sunday. Sometimes on a Monday or even a Wednesday. I love Baby E and his perfect little gentleman style. I mean come on, he is perfection with a few toddler norms. Like not always sleeping through the night. LOL. Oh and he’s a biter. Help me with this one mamas. HELP!

Anyway, check out his little gentleman style on a Sunday. I’m always ready to add a little preppy to my kids look. Like seriously, I cringe when I actually dress them down. Not because the things are not cute but I guess the British side of me only speaks in dresses, dress coats, slacks, ties and hard bottom shoes. I’d dress my kids all the way up every day if it wasn’t for playgrounds and side-eye. The one exception is denim. I love denim and I guess the new version formally known as chambray. One can always dress up a piece of denim.

Now that I’ve shared that, I have a confession: While I like a what I call “little gentleman style”, I struggle shopping for boys. It’s either all or nothing. I love when a store has all the pieces I need to make an outfit but overall, I am always like a deer in headlights in the boys section. I don’t know if it’s the patterns (seriously how many ways can you make a ___ shirt?) or the constant graphics or what? And forget about casual shoes. I always call in my mom friends of boys to help in that department. I can do hard bottoms but if it’s beyond classic sneakers or chukkas, I’m lost. I even shared a girl’s back to school capsule wardrobe list a few weeks ago. Where is the boys one, you ask? I’m still trying to sort that out. Any suggestions of must-haves for boys? I’ve got bow ties, suspenders and suit jackets covered. LOL.

Thanks Vee. He snuck himself in for the style post. LOL. Oh and yes, styling girls is so much easier. I get stressed out thinking about his Baby E’s wardrobe.
