{Our Project 52} Week 12: Photographer’s Choice

Hi Y’all! Yes I feel like chatting with a little Southern words today. LOL. This weeks Our Project 52 theme is Photographer’s Choice. Now I’m sure you all know who my subject is… Yes it’s Sugar Plum Z. I want to include Baby Ë so I may just come back and add an updated bump pic.

Our Project 52 I snapped this pic of Sugar Plum Z while we were making ice cream sundaes. I love the simplicity of it. She was just doing what most toddlers do which is enjoy any activity that includes getting a little messy. And if that activity involved something tasty then it’s a double win.

This picture was also a winner because I finally captured one of the photography concepts I’ve learned during this challenge: Catchlights! I was so excited I had to share this pic with our fearless Our Project 52 leaders Lashawn & Mimi before I even decided it would be my Photographer’s Choice image. What do you think?

Oh and let me throw in this one of Sugar Plum Z heading to her first day of “school.” She ws so excited and she did not cry. She had a great day and I took the tim to catch up on some work at the office aka coffee shop. FYI, mom who are employed full-time by a two year old need a break too. In a few weeks, these office hours will turn into caring for our newborn hours while Zoe gets in some activity. I’m happy about that because I don’t want her stuck at home all the time while I recover and we adjust to Baby E.

Her cheeks! You did an awesome job on those catchlights. I haven’t really tried that tip but I am going to now.
