I am 9 weeks postpartum and it’s time I buckle down and get my mama snapback on. Don’t get me wrong, I have been working out hard lightly and eating healthy (most times) but I’m ready to turn it up. I don’t hate my post baby body at all but here is the thing: I am only 4 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight but 24-29 pounds from my goal weight which is really a healthy weight for my age, body size and overall health. So it’s time!
So how am I going to do it? I have these 5 tips I will be following and yes one of them includes these Fiber One Cheesecake Bars because I would be kidding myself (and so would you) if you think you won’t want, need or deserve a snack!
Be Kind To Yourself
Listen, you just carried around a baby for 40 weeks give or take a few. Your body had to adjust to that little (or big) bundle of joy so don’t beat yourself up if you didn’t exactly snapback right away. Trust me when I say I want to be summertime fine too but I believe in slow and steady progress because it is more realistic and more likely to stay.
Keep It Simple
You don’t need a super workout of 2-3 hours or some of the hard workouts which I shall not name. Your body will be in recovery mode for many months if not a full year so keep it simple. Do you know how great walking is? If you don’t then let me tell you that I was able to drop 20 post pregnancy pounds from my first pregnancy by walking daily and eating healthy enough.
Do What You Love
Running not for you? Then don’t do it. Pick a routine you love or at least enjoy and stick to it. You don’t have to do what someone else did. It may not work for you and if you hate it, then it won’t be rewarding.
Stick to It
Make time for your exercise routines. Don’t blow it off because you are too tired, not in the mood, hormonal or whatever. In fact, working out is sure to improve your mood and it definitely gives you a boost of energy. And working out does wonders for sleep! WONDERS!
Enjoy What You Eat
Yes to choosing the right foods. Do it and be diligent but don’t beat yourself up if you slip. Dust yourself off and try again. As for me, I love to indulge my sweet tooth especially my love of cheesecake. When I discovered these Fiber One Cheesecake Bars, I knew I would be in #CheesecakeInstincts heaven. I enjoyed one which is only 150 calories and has 5 grams of fiber with a small cup of coffee.

July 22, 2015 at 9:39 AMI’m going to pick these up. My problem is I won’t eat breakfast if it involves a lot of hoopla. To be able to grab something that is good for me and go with my cup of coffee I will be more likely to get my day started right.

July 22, 2015 at 9:44 AMI am so with you on this. Breakfast is the most important yet the hardest meal for me to have. These are my treat but yes I would definitely enjoy them for breakfast.

July 31, 2015 at 12:44 AMOh those all sound so good! I think my family would love the Strawberry Cheesecake the most! My fav! I agree that these bars would be great for Breakfast. I skip Breakfast most days, and I know that is not healthy! This would be a great easy way to get breakfast.
