Thanks to Minted for helping us get Valentine’s Day ready.
Last year Zoë got the cutest Valentine’s from her classmates. Adorable little notes and cards and of course sweet little treats. It was all so cute and while I loved it, I also had another thought… I am so not good with this whole school mom thing. I didn’t buy any kids Valentine’s Day cards. The thought didn’t even cross my mind. I mean seriously, was this a thing back in the day? I seriously don’t remember. And then I felt bad but decided against buying “make-up” Valentines because it would be even more obviously how clueless I am about these things.
But not this year! This year I am ready. I am ready and I am excited. We have the cutest kids Valentine’s Day cards. Classroom Valentine’s Cards with stickers for Zoe’s friends and teachers at school. Once again I have Minted to thank for saving me, the disaster of a pre-schooler mom. And not only do we have these cute valentine’s to share, this mama is getting in the kitchen and whipping up something or prepping something to go with them. I’m still undecided on that but it will come together before V-day.
These S’more Friends Like You classroom valentines are just too cute. Should I make S’mores Bark (or something) or do cute little S’mores prep kits for Zoe’s classmates? On one hand, I want to do the bark or something because why not? But then how fun would it be for the kids to make their own little s’more at home using the kit we hand out? Decisions, decisions.
And you know this NYC gal had to go with the Cityscape Kids Valentine’s Day cards too. I am going to give this to the teachers and I may just mail a few to Zoe’s friends. We are working on our pen pal game plan for 2017 and a surprise Valentine included with the pen pal letter might be the perfect way to start.
Do you do Valentines for your kids class? Check out the cute options at Minted. Order by February 1 so you get your Valentine’s in time. Your kid’s school friends (as Zoë calls them) won’t be disappointed.
While I’m at it, what other holidays do I need to bring something cute and fun in for our school friends? I want to be that mom! I really do. Help me be that mom.
