Thank you Minted for sponsoring our Spring Soiree. As always all opinions are my own.
I love the changing of the seasons. In my dreams, throwing a party to celebrate each season is the perfect way to welcoming new beginnings throughout the year that is not associated with the new year or birthdays. The season I am most excited to welcome is spring because who isn’t ready for spring after below-freezing temps and layers of clothes? So we threw a Kids Spring Soiree to celebrate the warmer temperatures, Easter and the beginning of sundresses, sandals and picnic season. I was so excited to decorate using our Minted Party Decor plus some pieces from our vintage tea set.
Z was excited to put her Easter Bunny on the table and this year we added the matching boy bunny for Baby E. Add in tea sandwiches, cupcakes and more yummy desserts plus a fun Easter egg decorating craft and the party was a big hit.
How Throw Welcome Spring Party For Kids
- Plan your party theme and order fun supplies
- Plan an easy menu
- Have a plan for 1-2 crafts
- Invite Friends
- Have Fun
I decided to go with an evening tea theme because what kid doesn’t love a little sandwich. As for tea, we went with fun raspberry and orange flavors. Caffeine free of course.
Based on our theme, we ordered whimsical party decor from the Sweet Clementine collection. I love that the collection is designed by a mom in California. Being able to know who designed this beautiful party package made it even more special. I am always ready to support a fellow mom in business.
Z was excited to help set the table and to put on her dress which we ended up having to change soon after. Why? She’s a toddler. The word toddler explains it all. LOL.
We talked about the season of Spring, flowers, and the weather. We also talked about the true meaning of Easter and also the tradition of the Easter Bunny. We planned our Spring herb and veggie garden. You see throwing a party just because is like a fancy way to have a preschool lesson. Get into it.
We hosted our family for dinner the following day and since our table was still on display, we used it to set out all the desserts.
Minted has the cutest party decor, invitations and basic supplies for your party. Being able to order almost everything we needed in one place was a big bonus. Life in stores with a busy baby and a busy toddler is not the easiest thing so I am all here for clicking and then waiting for my deliveries to arrive. There are tons of party themes to choose from so it was very easy to find bright and colorful tables decorations, customizable banners and cute table signs. Don’t forget to order the crowns! The kids and the adults too loved them. The come in an assortment of colors making them fun for everyone.
Guess what mamas? I have a special giveaway from Minted for you. This giveaway is open to U.S. residents only. Enter to win a $150 credit:
