In My Feelings On A Tuesday.
It’s day 14 of NaBloPoMo and according to my calendar, I should be sharing a video and recipe today. But…
I’m in my feelings so thats not happening today. I don’t care to share what’s on my mind right now but I will say that having emotional up and down days is very real. Today is one of those down days.
Truthfully I would be curled up in my bed with a cup of tea, half listening to HGTV while reading a book or journaling or even sharing my worries with my bestie via a long phone conversation. But alas kids need to eat, diapers need to get changed, dishes need to be washed (loaded in the dish washer) and prep for tomorrow needs to happen.
So nope, I am here writing this quick piece while Z does some art and Baby E has full on Nascar adventures with his cars. I’ll probably hit my journal with my thoughts in a bit and I will definitely write out my gratitude list for the day earlier than normal, While it’s one of those somewhat down days, I am still grateful for many things including sharing this truth moment with you. Including the great kid free weekend we just got from. Including blogging for 14 days straight even though today’s post isn’t necessarily useful. Including cute pics of newborn babies. And so much more.
I’ve chatted with a few mom friends today and yeah, sick kids, over scheduled days, hormones, life and so much more is going on right now. A collective deep breath is in order. You know how we say WooSah? Well I wish us all a woosah very very soon.
