What’s am I’m thankful for on a Tuesday? Well what I am thankful for today is what I am thankful for every day. November is a month of Thanksgiving and in the last few years, it means so much more to me.

I became a mom. Against all odds, illness and loss, God granted me favor and blessed me with the greatest miracle of all. Motherhood! It’s not easy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My little whipper snapper Zoe aka Little Z keeps me on my toes daily. So on this Tuesday I am thankful for Zoe.

I became a wife. Yes the order is backwards to some but it is perfect for us. Think motherhood is hard? Being a wife is harder. Learning to compromise, understand and coexist with someone isn’t easy. I shared some of my lessons learned earlier this week and I can’t wait to share more. It’s not always pretty but it is ours and every time we get through a rough patch in tact, I give a fist pump and a thank you to Jesus. Getting married also “officially” made Big Z my daughter. A piece of paper and some words did not start our bond. It has been there since day 1.

My little guy, Baby E is turning 6 months old. Now if I thought Zoe was a one shot miracle, I was clearly wrong. Don’t sleep on God folks! Don’t you dare sleep. Baby E will be making is debut on the blog on his big Half Birthday so come back to see my Juicy!

Thanksgiving day. It is my favorite holiday. Well outside of all of our birthdays. LOL. But seriously I love Thanksgiving for so many reasons. I can vividly remember the whole family gathering at my grandmother’s for a great dinner. Grandma loved it and every single year when we sit down to eat, I think of her. I can almost feel her and hear her laugh. Oh and the prayer, I can hear her praying over us and the meal and I can see my cousin sneaking a piece of something because honey the prayers were long! I miss her.
The Season
I suddenly love fall but that’s not the season I am referring to. I’m talking about the holiday season. I love it all. The reason that is Jesus, the family gatherings, the decorating, cooking, eating and gift given. The smiles on everyone’s faces especially the kids and just the overall love in the air.
Are you thankful on a Tuesday?
