Haute Mama Strut: Fall/Winter Shoe Picks

Shoe picks for mama’s like me that need to get a lot done, stay stylish and are most likely carrying a plump baby around.

The Over The Knee Riding Boot
Can you say sexy & comfy! And so stylish when you are preggers, rushing your baby to their never-ending events or out on a shopping extravaganza.
Corso Como $249

The Construction Boot
I have never owned a pair but I must say as a mom how can you go wrong. Plus it seems the celebs have made them über popular hence the sticker shock. I’m a Brooklyn girl. There were always Timberland deals to be had.

Adored by many. Disliked by a few. I am a big fan! I have owned 4 pairs and really I wish I would have purchased more at once instead of running each pair into the ground. Warm, cozy and so comfortable. These also saved me during the cool NYC fall of 2012 when I was a big bowl of preggers hauteness! And there are so many new cute styles to choose from.

The High-Top Kicks
Yes haute mamas you want some of these. I remember when the wedge sneakers rage started. I purchased a pair before the fashion frenzy begun. But seriously I am not a sneaker wearer. At least until now. My go to summer sneaks were the ever classic Converse Chuck Taylor’s. I loved them. Hop, skip and jump from play dates, to doctor appointments or grocery shopping. You name it. But now for the chiller months you will most definitely find me in some high-top sneaks. You can find funky, stylish or classic looks for any budget. This pair screams HAUTE:

The Wedge Bootie
I love wedges. This I get from my mama. I am a stiletto girl but the wedge gets lots of love from me especially post baby. With so many options to choose from the possibilities are endless. I couldn’t decide on my absolute favs but these are definitely up there. A wedge is totally Haute Mama Sexy!

I absolutely LOVE construction timberlands, I remember when I would pay $80 ( a boys size 5), I never had a pair of Uggs, my daughter did and let’s just say I would steal them…… there are super comfy.
