You know I’m a big proponent of toy free gifting, especially for the holidays because there are so many experiences little ones can enjoy that make perfect gifts all year long. I’ll be sharing the local deals for experiences such as memberships next week. For now, I do want to share some of my favorite gifts for toddlers that include toys, gear, clothes and other fun things. Why? Because my kids have toys and I don’t have a problem with that but I do like for their toys to be something they can expand on imaginative play with (hello dolls and action figures) or that provide an educational experience.
I’ve included toys both boys and girls will love. While some things are traditionally considered girls toys, I’m not here to say what kids should and shouldn’t play with. The gifts on this list are great for toddlers 2 years and up although Baby E is 18 months and fully enjoys some of these items too with adult supervision of course.

Tegu Blocks
The magnetic Tegu Blocks are a big hit with all three kids and us parents too. So many sets to choose from. We have two if the 6 piece sets which come with a pouch and are great for outings to restaurants where kids get antsy. The set below is a step up from that because we need more blocks!
Guidecraft Better Builders
Any toys that expose children to different people and emotions is a win for me. Guidecraft has Better Builders Careers, Better Builders People, and Better Builders emotions. Hours of play that will leave your kids with ways to express and connect with what they are feeling along with endless opportunities to teach your kids about the people all around them.

Guidecraft Better Builders Grippie Building Set
Check out the details on this amazing STEM toy for toddlers. Grippies Builders are the first of it’s kind and an award winner. This set is great for younger toddler set because of the design. It’s a great intro for something like Tegu blocks. We don’t have this one yet but it is waiting in our Amazon shopping Cart.
Seedling Kits
I’m all for kids designing their own dress up clothes. Here are two Seedlings kits your kids will enjoy with your help.

Little Artist Shelf from Minted
Need I say more? This shelf is a must have for displaying your little artist’s works of art. Click the link to get more deets.
Speaking of my little artist, these coloring wall murals by Pirasta NYC are so dope! Kids love to color the walls so why not cover their wall in a mural colored by them.
Play Kitchen
This is one of the top three toys in our house. We have the pink and white corner kitchen. The kids love it so much and the play hours are endless. This neutral one is perfect for any home.
Tool Kit
Zoe loves to “fix” things. Baby E is just here for the drill which is good because small parts + teether = No! Get a tool kit and start building skyscrapers for imagination play. We will be adding another set and some hard hats because our kids are serious about banging and building.
Cute kids deserve cute clothes. theMINIclassy delivers! I am still swooning over the Dino pants. Like come on, dinosaurs are all the rage. Get into it.
Potstickers Club Subscription Box
My kids love to hang out in the kitchen with me. Even Baby E gets into it (he helps to knead dough). The Potstickers Club is a subscription box that will take your kids (as young as 2 years-old) on a culinary adventure. Their holiday box is open for purchase right now. You won’t regret it.
I’ll add a few more items to the list on Wednesday so make sure you come back for the update. And if you need some no toy gift ideas, check my No Toys Gift Guide for suggestions. What are your favorite gifts for toddlers this season?
