What do you do on Father’s Day? Growing up, we would go to church and then hang out with my uncle who was a father figure to so many of us. Now that I am a mom, I am always looking for ways to celebrate the great fathers and father figures in my life. For 2015 the girls are giving their dad a Father’s Day Coupons Book and we are sharing it below for your family to enjoy too.
It is a joy to see my girls light up when they are having special time with dad. Most times it’s impromptu laughter over an UNO game. Yes the toddler thinks she has mastered UNO. Then there are the moments when they form a marching band or have a pillow fight. When the hubs insist on teaching them martial arts but someone they convince him to play dress up instead. All these moments make for great memories and lots of fun.
Little Z loves to go for rides in the car with dad. Big Z loves when they have late night movie night (against my wishes) or they go out for an actual movie date. Big Z also loves cooking breakfast for dad. And now that Baby E is here, he gets to build his own special moments with daddy. The girls are also totally smitten with grandpa. Little Z holds long conversations with grandpa over the phone since he lives so far away.
This Father’s Day, I decided the girls would each present dad with a coupon book of fun things for them to do together. Dad can choose a date but really the girls get to decide. In sharing this idea with some friends, they all decided this was a lovely idea, so I decided to put together a voucher book for all the fans of FHM to enjoy with their dads this Father’s Day. There is even a blank page for random activities.

Kids can fill in their dad’s name, draw pictures, and even pick an expiration date for each certificate. Our expiration date is “To Infinite & Beyond.” I know, I’m such a geek. LOL. Take pictures and create a lovely memory book filled with stories, pictures and copies of each coupon they enjoyed.
What will your kids do special with dad this Father’s Day.

June 20, 2015 at 10:09 AMThanks Adanna. I hope they do. He will love it for sure. I’m having the girls fill out a blank one so we can head to the museum tomorrow. Free for dad plus they have a full kids line up and it’s the last day of an exhibit I really want to see. LOL. Don’t tell the Hubs.
