Spring has sprung and I love the flowers that have bloomed with it. My mom gave me these beautiful tulips from her garden. In the lower left you can also see the remnants of a carnation which I received at the end of last weeks Women’s 5K. I really need to plant my garden this year. The front of the house could use some sprucing up. Really we want to get the house painted. For now I think I will paint the front door, railings and plant some flowers.

Fresh flowers make me happy. Sometimes I sit and gaze at their beauty. When I am down they always provide a bright spot. I love displaying a new batch of fresh flowers each week. A few years ago I  tried floral arranging and I think it’s time I pick up that hobby again.

My favorite flowers are peonies, tulips and orchids. I like to display them on the kitchen bar table and on my desk. Well I don’t have a desk now but I plan on creating a new office space in the next few weeks. Displaying fresh flowers from my own garden would be so rewarding.

Do you plant fresh flowers or buy and display them? If so what is your favorite flower and the place you like to display them?

I love fresh flowers all year around but this season gives me flower fever! I’m trying to find some artificial ones to save some time and money, plus I have allergies! 🙂 Oh and I love Orchids too!

Hey Christina we went from a rough winter to a killer pollen season. I understand. Ikea has some nice artificial plants/flowers. Check them out.
